Why Seedance 2.0 Changes Everything
"Reference Video" - Steal the Camera Work
Controlling camera movement in AI video has always been a challenge. Seedance 2.0 solves this with its Reference Video feature. Upload a clip, and the model analyzes its camera language and pacing, then applies it to your new creation. You provide the motion. Seedance 2.0 provides the magic.
Editing & Audio Sync
Seedance 2.0 is as powerful an editing tool as it is a creation one. Add or remove characters, replace elements, all while preserving the original lighting and perspective. Upload a music track and the visuals respond, movements snap to the beat, cameras react to the impact. Sound and image, working as one.
Ultimate Consistency & Extension
For storytellers, consistency is everything. Seedance 2.0 locks onto your character's identity using a Reference Image, keeping their face, clothing, and presence stable across every angle and cut. And when you need more, Video Extension lets you stretch a clip to 15 seconds seamlessly, the AI predicts what comes next and keeps the shot flowing.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is "Multi-Modal" input and why should I use it?
Can I use Seedance 2.0 to edit videos I already made?
Yes! Seedance 2.0 has enhanced editing capabilities. You can use it to change specific elements within a video. For example, you can replace a character in a scene with a different one while keeping the background the same, or you can extend a short clip to be longer. The model understands the scene's depth and lighting, making these edits look natural and realistic.
Does the "Reference Video" feature copy the face of the original person?
No, and this is a key feature. The "Reference Video" copies the motion, camera angle, and composition, but not the identity. You provide the identity using a "Reference Image" or text prompt. This means you can film yourself doing a movement, but the final video will show your AI character doing it. This is perfect for animators and creators who want to act out scenes for their characters.
